PREHEAT AND COOK
Note:
Aerosol cooking spray should not be used on the plate.
1. Wipe the grill plate with a little cooking oil or butter. Don’t use low fat
spread – it may burn on to the grill.
2. Turn the temperature control fully counter clockwise.
3. Plug the removable adjustable thermostat into the power inlet on the
appliance.
4. Put the plug into the power outlet.
5. Set the temperature control to the required temperature.
6. The light will come on, then cycle on and off as the thermostat
maintains the temperature.
7. Place the food on the grill using a spatula or tongs, not fingers.
8. Wait till the food has cooked.
Note:
Cooking time will depend on the thickness of the food. To be sure
your food is cooked, USDA recommends using a meat thermometer to test
meat for doneness. Insert the meat thermometer into the thickest part of
the meat until the temperature stabilizes.
9. Remove the cooked food.
Note:
Always use heatproof plastic, nylon or wood utensils to avoid
scratching ceramic nonstick surface of grill plate. Never use metal skewers,
tongs, forks or knives.
