3.4.2 RS-232 C
OMMANDS
The RS-232 connector on the 8–1 HDMI Switch links to
a control console. From this console, you can enter the
RS-232 commands described in Table 3-5.
A typical command has this format:
<Command code><SPACE><Carriage return (CR)>
The switcher responds with an either an “OK” message if
the command is legal or an “NG” message if the
command is not legal.
NOTES
• The command must be combined with characters and
digits.
• The combination command code has to be separated by
ASCII character SPACE.
• The command will be executed after you input ASCII
character “CR”.
• After you enter ASCII character “CR”, if the command is
legal, the unit replies with an “OK” message.
• If the command is illegal, the unit replies with an “NG”
message.
