3. Enter the password, carefully observing the correct use of upper and
lowercase characters. The password is not echoed to the screen. Factory
setting is RD.
4. If the password is rejected, you will see the following screen appear :
COMMAND MODE IS ACTIVATED VIA CH1
WRONG PASSWORD
MULTIPLEXOR IS IN NORMAL MODE
You must repeat step (1) again.
5. If the password is accepted, the Multiplexor sends the main menu:
MAIN MENU
0) SYSTEM CONFIGURATION
1) SUB-CHANNEL 1 CONFIGURATION
2) SUB-CHANNEL 2 CONFIGURATION
3) DIAGNOSTICS
4) EXIT TO NORMAL OPERATION
SELECT YOUR CHOICE (0 - 4)
You can now start the actual configuration session (
Section 4.8
).
From this point on, whenever you want to end the configuration session, press
Q as many times as necessary to obtain the following message, or press ESC.
EXIT COMMAND MODE
MULTIPLEXOR IN NORMAL MODE
