SNMP Manageable 6-Slot Chassis (hereafter referred to as SNMP
6-Slot Chassis) is a modular, SNMP-manageable media converter
chassis designed for conversion between twisted pair (10Base-T),
BNC (10Base-2) thin coax and ST or SC (10Base-FL) single-mode or
multi-mode fiber; between twisted pair (100Base-TX) and ST or SC
(100 Base-FX) single-mode and multi-mode fiber; or between single-
mode and multi-mode fiber using transmission speeds of up to OC3
(S2MM).
The SNMP 6-Slot Chassis includes one slot for installing an SNMP
Management Module (either SNMP Master or Slave) and six slots for
installing any combination of SNMP Manageable Modules for 6-Slot
Chassis (hereafter referred to as SNMP Manageable Modules). It is
available with 90/240 VAC or -48 VDC power with an additional slot
for a second, redundant power supply.
The following SNMP 6-Slot Chassis versions are available:
SNMP 6-Slot Chassis 1U — rackmountable for 1 - 6
conversions; includes one universal power supply
(90/240 VAC) and slot for installing second power
supply (LMC600A)
