The source’s HDMI
specification doesn’t
match the HDMI cable
and/or the HDMI display

Check if the splitter unit has
been connected to the source
computer before the
computer powered on.
Erratic behavior
The splitter may not be
receiving enough power.
Check the power adapter
attached to the splitter to
make sure it matches the
system specifications and is
functioning properly.
Not receiving
picture or
sound
Wrong installation
process
The video splitter requires at
least one monitor connection
before powering on the
source device.
The signal source may
require a display device
that is HDCP compliant.
Check that the display monitor
is HDCP compliant. HDCP
prevents the transfer of digital
content to unauthorized HDMI
devices.
