• EXTENSION CORDS.
Make sure your extension cord is in good condition. When using an extension cord, be
sure to use one heavy enough to carry the current your product will draw. An undersized cord will cause a drop in
line voltage resulting in loss of power and overheating. The following table shows the correct size to use
depending on cord length and nameplate ampere rating. If in doubt, use the next heavier gage. The smaller the
gage number, the heavier the cord.

H ) IF AN EXTENSION CORD IS USED:
1 . The marked rating of the detachable power supply cord or extension cord should be at least as great as the
electrical rating of this appliance.
2 . The cord should be arranged so that it will not drape over the countertop or tabletop where it can be
tripped over, snagged, or pulled on unintentionally (especially by children).
3 . The extension cord should be kept dry and off the ground.
4 . Do not clean this appliance with a water spray or the like.
