Turning the Unit On or Off
NOTE: Refer to the control panel and remote control
illustrations at the start of this manual for a full list of
the indicators and buttons mentioned in the sections
below.
♦
To turn the unit On or Off, plug it into a mains
socket and press the On/Off button on the unit’s
control panel. Air will begin emitting from the front
grille and the LED display will show the currently
selected temperature to show the unit has been
powered up.
♦
Press the On/Off button again while the unit is in
operation to put it into Standby mode. The text ‘Of’
will appear on the unit’s LED display and air will
stop emitting from the front grille to show the unit
has been put into Standby mode.
♦
Press this button once more while the unit is in
Standby mode to resume operation.
NOTE: If the fan is put into Standby mode when
operating on a high heat level or directly after a heat
setting has been changed, air will continue emitting
from the front grille for approximately 45-60 seconds
as the motor cools down. The unit will automatically
revert to Fan mode and the LED strip around the unit
will turn blue to indicate this is the case. When the
motor is fully cooled down, the LED strip around the
unit will go out and air will stop emitting from the front
grille, as described above.
♦
To turn the unit off completely, unplug it from
the mains. The unit’s LED display will go out to
indicate it has been powered down.
