Cleaning

The fan requires regular cleaning to ensure trouble free operation.

Do not use chemical cleaning agents.

Disconnect the power supply before cleaning the air cooler to avoid electric shock.

Remove the water tank from the air cooler by lifting it from the main unit. Unscrew the tank 
cap and rinse inside the tank with clean water.

Every Day: Empty, rinse and dry the tank, tank cap and water reservoir before 
refilling.

o

Every Week: To remove any scale or build up, use a 50/50 mixture of white 
vinegar and lukewarm water to clean the inside of the tank.

Cleaning the body

Disconnect the power supply. Clean the body with a mild detergent and a soft and damp 
cloth. Do not allow water to get in or on the control panel.

Use a vacuum cleaner to remove dust and fluff from around the grills.

Ensure the fan is dry before plugging back into the mains supply.

Do not attempt to dismantle the fan. There are no user serviceable parts. For service or repair,
contact an authorised electrical service technician.
