USING THE RADIO

Refer to the enlargement of the Clock/Radio Panel below to locate referenced buttons and controls.

CLOCK/RADIO PANEL (DETAIL VIEW)

By default, the Digital Display shows the time. Pressing the Radio ON/OFF Pushbutton (

) toggles between

turning the Radio ON and OFF. When it is ON, the LCD Display shows the currently selected frequency and
station. Note that the back light will activate automatically whenever any button is pressed.
Press the BAND/MODE Pushbutton to cycle through to the desired frequency (AM, FM or AU [digital audio player]
mode).
Use the TUNING Pushbuttons (

or 

) to cycle up or down to the desired station.

Use the VOLUME Pushbuttons (

+

or 

) to select desired volume. The Digital Display will briefly show selected

volume level (from 0 to 30).

Programming Stations Into Memory

Up to 10 stations can be programmed into memory.
• Press the Radio ON/OFF Pushbutton to turn the Radio ON.
• Press the BAND/MODE Pushbutton to cycle through to the desired frequency (AM or FM).
• Use the TUNING Pushbuttons (

or 

) to cycle up or down to the desired station.

• Press and hold the MEM/CLOCK Pushbutton until a blinking “M” appears on the Digital Display.
• Press the TUNING Pushbutton (

or 

) to select the desired memory station number.

• Press the MEM/CLOCK Pushbutton to save the setting.
• Repeat this process (up to 9 times). Stations will be accessed in the order they were programmed in.

To Access User-Programmed Stations:

• Press the Radio ON/OFF Pushbutton to turn the Radio ON.
• Press the BAND/MODE Pushbutton to cycle through to the desired frequency (AM or FM).
• Press the MEM/CLOCK Pushbutton to cycle through all programmed stations until desired memory number

appears.

USING THE MP3/DIGITAL MUSIC PLAYER COMPARTMENT/CABLE PLUG

The PSS100B comes with an MP3/Digital Music Player Compartment (top of unit – refer to the illustration to
right) and built-in Input Cable Plug. To play music from an MP3 
or digital musicPlayer:

1. Lift the MP3/Digital Music Player Compartment cover door

up (refer to the illustration to locate).

2. Insert the built-in Input Cable Plug into the headphone jack

on audio player device.

3. Open the spring loaded bracket and set the audio player

device into place.

4. Release the spring loaded bracket slowly to secure the audio

player device.

5. Place the unit into auxilliary input (AU) mode by pressing the

BAND/MODE button.

6. Operate the MP3/Digital Music Player as usual.
7. Use the VOLUME Pushbuttons (

+

or 

) to select desired volume. The Digital Display will briefly show selected

volume level (from 0 to 30).
