The compressor module compares the measured val-
ues with programmed data, sending signals via Mod-
bus and indicating the operating condition by means of
differently coloured LEDs. The compressor will be cut
out in case of operation beyond the application limits,
lack of oil, excessive motor temperature, wrong rotation
direction or critical motor start, see chapter Protective
functions, page 54. The module issues warnings when
the compressor starts too frequently or insufficiently un-
loaded, or when the minimum running time or minimum
shut-off period is not met.
4.2.1
Oil pressure transmitter (B54)
For HS.95 compressors, this component is part of the
standard scope of delivery.
For OS.95, it is part of the standard scope of delivery
from serial number 1096901733. For previous models,
it can be retrofitted from serial number 1092401124
upon request.
4.2.2
Rotation direction monitoring
Rotation direction monitoring includes three functions:
• Rotation direction monitoring of the compressor start
• Phase failure monitoring of the motor power voltage
• Operating recognition monitoring when a delay
between the enable signal of the superior controller
and the start command takes place. This is the case
in FI operation.
Semi-hermetic compressors of series HS. and CS. are
delivered with fitted rotation direction monitoring. For FI
operation of open drive compressors, the cables must
be connected, see chapter Retrofitting a measuring
cable for rotation direction monitoring, page 53.
