To access the web interface, open a new tab in your web browser, and enter the IP address. Make 

sure your browser does not auto-complete anything after the address (e.g. if your browser auto-

completes the IP to “http://192.168.0.100/update.htm”, remove the “/update.htm” before hitting 

enter).

Note that the network interface is reset during a system upgrade. Due to this, depending on your 

network infrastructure, using the hostname might not work immediately after a system upgrade. If 

this happens, it is recommended to use the IP address instead of the hostname to avoid trouble.

Now follow the instructions in the previous section (page 20) to conduct the firmware update.

If anything goes wrong

If a firmware update goes wrong, it is recommended that you read the displayed errors carefully. If 

possible, try to carry out the firmware update again. In the case of a failure, please send the reported

errors to BitifEye support.

If a system upgrade fails, or if the system becomes unusable after a failed firmware update, you can 

repeat the system upgrade any time.

In the case of a failure, please send the errors reported on the instrument display to BitifEye support.
