10.2. Check before use
10.2.1. Brake Inspection
•
Make sure your brakes are operating properly before each use.
•
It should not be possible to push the wheelchair away while the
brakes are activated.
•
The wheelchair should be easy to drive without grinding noises and
with good direction stability when the brakes are released.
•
If you notice unusual behaviour when braking, inform your
qualified mobility dealer immediately and do not use the
wheelchair.
10.2.2. Checking the tyres
Before embarking on any journey, check that the tyres are in good
condition.
The wheelchair must be inspected in accordance to
the service plan and must be in good condition.
11. Maintenance tips for retailers
We recommend having the wheelchair inspected by your qualified
mobility dealer at least once a year. If faults or defects at the wheelchair
are found, it must be returned to the dealer for repair immediately.
The dealer can receive the required information and documentation
for repair and service on request. A training program is also available
for dealers.
Repair and replacement of parts are carried out by the qualified
mobilty dealer.

12. Use by others
The Pyro Light Optima is appropriate for use by others. For use by
others, the wheelchair must first be thoroughly cleaned and disinfected
according to the accompanying care and hygiene instructions.
The product shall get checked by an authorised dealer for general
condition, wear and shall get repaired if necessary.
