Is there a way to see what is being recorded as it happens?

Alternatively, the recordings are available within 5 seconds of the recording being
ended, so you will be able to see the recording almost straight away on Camera One
itself. This means that if you don’t have an ATEM
unit which allows you to preview,
you can always do a quick test recording on your system before your show begins, to
check that your guests are in shot and framed correctly.
For how long are the recordings kept on the system?
This varies between stations, and is decided when your system is configured, so
please check locally.
The default option is seven days.
Is there a maximum recording length?
We do not recommend a continuous recording of more than six hours, as the
resulting file will be very large and could cause system stability issues.
If you have a very long show, it’s easy to stop and start a recording part
-way through
if needed.
The technical limit depends on how much recording space you have on your system,
as video files can end up being rather large!
