Installation Guide and User’s Manual for Frostbuster MI 340 & MI 800
6. Operation
1. Open the regulator on the gas canister valve.
2. Push the pin on the long side of the device as far as it goes and hold in place.
3. Light the burner with a long match or a lighter.
4. Once the flame is burning, keep the pin in place for another 15-20 seconds. If the flame goes
out after releasing the pin, repeat the lighting procedure.
Information: When using the device for the first time, the lighting procedure may take longer,
given that air in the gas pipe needs to escape through the burner nozzle.
5. To switch off the device, close the gas canister valve.
Important! In the event of an uncontrolled gas leakage, shut off the regulater valve on the
canister immediately.
Flame production:
Given that the constitution of gases varies depending on supplier, a yellow-coloured flame may be
produced.
Note: The stainless steel casing will become a blue/brown colour through heating. This process is
completely normal and has no influence on the durability or function of the device.
