26 RESET
The ReSet Menu allows you to reset calculated flow values:
•
Minimum flow (MinF) — reset to the current flow rate
•
Maximum flow (MaxF) — reset to the current flow rate
•
Total flow (Tot) — reset to 0
The ReSet function is useful if you want to monitor total flow and minimum and maximum flows on a regular
basis (for example, you want to track daily total flow and daily minimum and maximum flows).
29 TEMP (TEMPERATURE)
This menu sets up the temperature compensation parameters. Temp has three submenus: FixT, Mon, and Scale.
FIXT (FIXED TEMPERATURE)
FixT allows you to enter a fixed temperature, usually to match the temperature inside the vessel where the
transducer is operating. The controller then adjusts the speed of sound in the calculations to correspond to that
temperature. FixT has two submenus:
•
If you select Yes, enter the fixed temperature.
•
If you select No, the controller disables the fixed temperature function. If you have a temperature
compensation probe, the controller uses the probe’s temperature data to adjust the speed of sound in
the calculations. If there is no probe, the controller uses the speed of sound at the default temperature.
MON (MONITOR)
Mon lets you monitor the temperature (Temp), the A to D counts (ADC), and the minimum and maximum
temperature (MinT and MaxT) since the last reset. The value for Temp is based on the following:
•
If you selected Yes for FixT, the temperature that you entered in that menu displays for Temp.
•
If you selected No for FixT and there is no temperature compensation probe, the default temperature
displays for Temp. If there is a temperature compensation probe, the measured temperature displays for
Temp.
To reset MinT to the current temperature, press the Enter Key while in the MinT function. To reset MaxT to the
current temperature, press the Enter Key while in the MaxT function.
SCALE
Scale lets you select Celsius (°C), Fahrenheit (°F), or Kelvin (°K) as the temperature scale for entering a
temperature (in FixT) and monitoring the temperature in Mon.
