CARE AND MAINTENANCE
Cleaning of the sole plate

The scale on the sole plate can be removed
with a rough cotton cloth dampened with a
vinegar solution.
!
Do not use any abrasive substances and ma-
terials to clean the sole plate.
Storage
Before storing the iron, make sure it is disconnected from the
mains supply outlet and is completely cooled down. Set the tem-
perature control knob into the “Min” position and the steam control

position.
USEFUL TIPS
Selection of temperature settings
!
Before ironing, we recommend that you orga-
nize your clothes, into the types of material and
the recommended temperature settings.
!
We recommend that you start ironing, using the
lower temperature settings first: the appliance
gets hot quicker than it cools down.
!
When ironing articles made with combinations of fibers, start
with the temperature recommended for the most delicate mate-
rial first (for example, to iron a cloth made of cotton and polyes-
ter select the temperature recommended for ironing polyester
first).
