Keywords Filter
BIPAC 6500 allows the administrator to block some WEB URLs containing certain keywords in
this page. For example, if the keyword “xxx” is listed, the URL
http://www.new-site.com/xxx.html
would be blocked, even if it is not included in the domain filtering list. Keywords presented as
site name are also blocked; that is,
http://www.xxxsite.com
can not be accessed from LAN.
To add a keyword, enter it in the
Keyword
field and click
Add
.
To remove a keyword that was previously added, select it in the list box, and click the
Delete
button to eliminate it from the list.
3.4.3.5 VPN
VPN (Virtual Private Network) is a secured Internet protocol to allow users to access the
company internal network resources outside the company network. If you want to make this
function take effect, check the “Enable” button. Hence, the following fields will be activated.

3.4.3.6 Virtual Server
Being a natural Internet firewall, BIPAC 6500 protects your network from being accessed by
outside users. When it needs to allow outside users to access internal servers, e.g. Web server,
FTP server, E-mail server or News server, this product can act as a virtual server. You can set
up a local server with specific port number that stands for the service, e.g. Web (80), FTP (21),
