****THIS ASSEMBLY MIGHT REQUIRE TWO PERSONS. PLEASE ASSEMBLE WITH CARE. SAFETY FIRST!!
1. Determine location of the Bike Tree Ultra Max. Allow sufficient room to fit all items to be stored.
You will need approximately 5 feet of wall space. More space will be needed if bicycles or longer objects are stored.
2. Remove all packaging from all cartons.
3. Bike Tree Hub Aseembly (4 - if using):
a. Disassemble the plastic hub.
b. Insert the hanger rod (or utility hook) from the back of the hub front, making sure that the end hooks are correctly oriented. At this time, determine the angle of the hanger rod.
c. Close hub by sliding the hub rear into the hub front body.
d. Set aside.
4. Determine the location of the unit along the wall. Screw one (1) Top Main Tube onto the wall using the plate holes as a template. Make sure the holes are vertical.
The recommended height of the top screw location is 86” from the floor.
5. Screw the other Top Main Tubes using the plate holes as a template. Make sure it’s 63" from the first set of holes. Also make sure they are level with the first holes and vertical.
Use provided anchors if mounting on drywall. If mounting on a wall stud, drill an 1/8” pilot hole and screw directly onto the stud.
6. Upper Main Tube Assembly (2):
a. Insert one Bike Tree Hub assembly into one of the Top tubes. Slide all the way to the top. Secure with short pin to the highest tubing hole.. Repeat for other side
b. Insert single slider into the main top tube. Slide as far as possible towards the top. Secure with short pin on the upper slider hole.
c. Repeat for the opposite side, making sure the slider is rotated the opposite way.
7. Attach the cross tube sets onto the upper section to secure the upper section. To properly secure, insert the tube past the button hole, insert second tube and adjust accordingly.
8. Lower Main Tube Assembly (2):
a. Insert single slider into the main bottom tube. Slide all the way to the bottom.
b. Secure position by inserting a short pin thru the lower slider hole and lowest tubing hole.
c. Repeat for the opposite side, making sure the slider is rotated the opposite way.
d. Insert one Bike Tree Hub assembly into the main bottom tube. Secure with short pin at any position except the top 3 holes. Repeat for other side.
e. Insert single slider into the main bottom tube. Secure by inserting a short pin thru the upper slider hole and highest tubing hole. Repeat for the other side, making sure the slider is rotated acdordingly.
9. Attach the Lower sections onto the Upper sections. Insert one tube at a time until both are in place. Secure with the provided long pins.
10. Attach the remainin cross tube sets onto the lower sections to secure the entire unit.
11. Screw the Lower sections onto the wall using the plate holes as templates.
Use provided anchors if mounting on drywall. If mounting on a wall stud, drill an 1/8” pilot hole and screw directly onto the stud.
12. Hang grids and adjust accordingly.
