Parts Included:
License Plate mounting bracket Assembly. Includes Base Plate and
License Plate Holder.
License Plate mounting Screws: (2) 6mm X 10mm (Phillips head), (2) 6mm
acorn nuts
(10mm wrench size)
Base plate Mounting screws: (2) 1/4" X 1
1/4
" self-tapping bolt, (2) 1/4"
spacers & (2) 1/8 spacers (vehicles with extra Gloss Black Center Cover)
Tools Needed:
7/16 socket with ratchet Note: 1/4-inch drive preferred but
3/8 will work but extra caution will be needed when tightening screws.
Philips screwdriver and 10mm wrench
7/32 inch drill bit and drill.
Step 1: Ensure all parts listed above are accounted for. Note: If at any time during the
installation process you need assistance please call (408) 776-4080.
Step 2: Separate the license plate holder from the base by simply pulling the pull pin ring
outward and sliding apart.
Step 3: Center base plate bracket as show in figure 1. The bracket will be centered on the
bumper and up against the back deflector panel shown in figure 2. Slide the front bracket into
the tubes to verify alignment. Remove when alignment is complete and continue to step 4.
Step 4: Once base plate is correctly positioned and while holding the plate in place, carefully
drill two pilot holes for the rear mounting screws. See figure 3.
Step 5: Using the two

(Note: If your vehicle has the additional
Gloss Black Center Cover use the 1/8” spacers instead of the ¼” spacers)
, secure the rear of
base plate to the vehicle using the following method. Caution: When tightening the screws
extreme care should be taken not to over tighten screws or the hole may become stripped and
lose its ability to secure the base
plate. Place the screw into the 7/16 socket and begin to
tighten. Once the screw is flush with the plate stop. Now tighten screw until snug and stop.
Repeat process for second screw.
