7. INSTALLATION AND USE
7.1 INSTALLATION
ATTENTION: read and follow carefully all the safety instructions previusly reported, pay at -
tention to the instructions about the electrical system to which the appliance is connected.
ATTENTION: check for the drain valve (3) and the safety cap (8) are closed.
ATTENTION: move the machine only using the proper handle. Do not pull the hose of the
steam gun to move the machine.
1. Fill the tank (5) with only water.
WARNING: DO NOT USE DISTILLED WATER. THE WATER SENSORS DO NOT WORK WITH
WATER FREE OF MINERALS.
2. Insert the refill hose (4) into the tank. Make sure the metal contacts of the refill hose are
completely immersed in water.
3. Turn off all the switches and connect the power cable (1) to a grounded power outlet rated at
least 16A. Do not use using electric moltiplicator or multiple sockets.
4. Turn the main switch (11) in position 1 to switch on the machine and activate the first hea-
ter. The pump will start to fill in the boiler (it may take up to 10 min).
IMPORTANT: wait for the pump to complete the loading to turn the main switch in position
2 to activate the second heater.
When loading the boiler for the first time, the "no water" light (7) will stay on until the
boiler will be completely filled. Then the red light turns off and the boiler starts to produce
steam up to 6 bars pressure (it may take up to 10 min).
5. An electronic control system and a pump maintain the boiler full. An acoustic alarm warns
when the water in the tank (5) is exhausted. Then fill in the tank to deactivate the alarm and
continue working.
6. While the boiler is heating, it is normal to see steam coming out from the draft tube in the tank
for a few minutes, it stops automatically when the boiler reaches approximately 1 bar of pressure.
7. When starting-up wait for the pressure gauge (9) to reach at least 4 bars or the steam ready
light (6) to light up before starting to work (may take up to 10 min). Even if the steam ready light
(6) will turn off while using the steam, it will be possible to continue working with steam.
If, while using steam, the "no water" light (7) lights up, it means that the boiler is empty and,
for safety reasons, the machine goes in protection mode. Turn off the machine and apply to a
qualified technician.
