1. Reset the controller (see section 8.3).
2. Go to the installation menu by pressing the
?
key and
the
=
key simultaneously for five seconds.
3. Using the
?
key, go to function 99.
4. Using the
+
key, change the value from 0 to 1.
5. Press
?
for three seconds.
This will take you to the screen for entering the unit code.
6. The controller displays four numbers, which, together,
constitute the unit code. The first number starts blinking.
7. To increase or decrease the number, press
+
or
-
.
8. To go to the next number, press the
?
key.
9. Repeat the previous two steps until you entered all four
numbers. No number will be blinking any more.
10. Store the unit code by pressing the
=
key. The unit code
has now been set.
If multiple units are connected to one single controller:
11. Reconnect the other units to the controller.
12. Reset the controller (see section 8.3).

Composition of Biddle control cable
The control cable for Biddle units is different from standard
modular telephone cables.
The plugs are of the RJ-11 type but the sockets are ‘straight’ –
at both ends of the cable, the core is connected to the same
pin.
