General Description
The water bath interior is made from a one piece
stainless steel pressing for ease of maintenance
and cleaning. An immersion heater is located at
the bottom of the tank and a perforated
stainless steel platform is provided to support
vessels in the bath.
On basic models the temperature is set by a
rotary knob with analogue scale while on digital
models the temperature is set and displayed via
the digital LCD.
Digital models are fitted with a variable over
temperature thermostat to give protection in the
event of a fault.
Operation
Position the apparatus on a firm level surface.
Place the perforated platform over the element
and fill with water to the desired level. It is
advisable to use distilled or deionised water to
avoid scale formation.
To avoid evaporation and improve temperature
control, stainless steel gable covers are available
as an optional extras - see Spares and
Accessories.
Periodically top up with water to maintain the
desired level.
