CAUTION:

  These Installation Instructions are for use by qualified service personnel only.  To reduce the risk of electric shock, do not

perform any servicing unless you are qualified to do so.

Output Connector:

  These seven screw terminals provide the speaker outputs from the amplifier.  From the factory, a jumper wire is

installed from the

4

Ω

 terminal (direct output) to the

xfmr input

 terminal.  For transformer (xfmr) output, connect speaker negative to the

com

 terminal, and connect speaker positive to the appropriate transformer output terminal (

25V

 for a 25 Volt distributed speaker system;

70V

 for a 70 Volt distributed speaker system;

100V

 for a 100 Volt distributed speaker system).  For direct amplifier output, first remove the

factory installed jumper wire, then connect speaker negative to the

gnd

 terminal, and connect speaker positive to the

4

Ω

 terminal.

CAUTION:

  The 100V output requires Class 3 wiring.  Please refer to a qualified electrician.

CAUTION:

  To avoid output fault conditions, Low Cut must be used when driving 25/70/100 Volt speaker systems (see Front & Rear Panel

Features on pg. 3).  Also, any other system equalization affecting frequencies below 125Hz should remain flat or be used as cut-only.  This
also precludes boosting of the Bass control in these applications.

Speaker Output Connections:

1)  M4 ring lugs (9mm) supplied as accessories with this product must be used to connect speaker wires to the amplifier output screw
terminals.  This will prevent the wires from accidentally disconnecting from the screw terminals.  The ring lugs will accept 14~20 AWG wire.
For proper wiring and insulation of ring lugs, in particular for 100V output, see Figures #1 & #2 on next page .

2)  'P' Clip supplied as an accessory with this product must be used to route the speaker wires.

3)  For installation of the 'P' Clip refer to Figure #3 below.
