4. Use
POSITIONING AND STARTING
Follow the following precautions when positioning the appliance:
• Put the appliance on a horizontal surface.
• Put the appliance so that it is protected against overheating.
• Plug the power cord into the power socket.
Warnings:
Electric shock hazard in case of use of the
appliance with damaged power cord. Nev-
er start the appliance with damaged power
cord.
Warnings:
Be careful, blades are very sharp!
Do not touch with fi ngers!
Attention!
Blades rotates also after having released
the on/off button.
Wait some seconds before opening the lid
and pour the content afterwards.
Even when not in use, unplug the appliance before mounting or re-
moving the single parts or before cleaning.
• Raise lid (2) by rotating it counter clockwise Fig. B.
• Insert coff ee beans into the appliance without going beyond the edge.
• Close lid (2) by rotating it clockwise Fig. C, until the notches on appli-
ance body (1) are in correspondence to the fl aps situated on the lid (2),
Fig. D.
• Plug power cord (5) into a socket. Press then on/off button (4), Fig. E.
After each use, before removing the lid from the motor body, unplug
the appliance.
