We therefore recommend always keeping a
new battery readily available. All functions are
automatically restored once a new battery has
been inserted.
Swallowing a battery is harmful to health
and may cause severe damage or even
death! Never change the batteries of the hear-
ing system in the presence of infants, toddlers,
children or mentally impaired persons. The
insertion or replacement of the battery may only
be carried out after instruction by the hearing
care professional. Never store batteries
alongside, for example, medicines! If you have
swallowed a battery, please seek medical at-
tention immediately. Always store batteries out
of reach of children! Pay attention to an intact
battery compartment!
Removing the external receiver
Take the receiver tube in your thumb and
forefinger and withdraw it carefully from the
auditory canal (Symbolic image 4). Please con-
tact your hearing care professional if you have
difficulty removing it.
Battery warning tone
Your hearing system will alert you when the
battery voltage is low. A series of tones will
remind you of this situation, until you change
the battery or it runs out completely. The hear-
