INTENDED USE
This set is used for re-cutting threads on wheel studs. The unique design allows for two halves of the
thread restorer to be fitted on the good thread and the wound back over the damaged thread, normal at
the end of the stud.

Keep children and unauthorized persons away from the work area.

Make sure that all safety regulations for garages are observed when using this tool.

Do not let children play with the tool or its packaging.

Please observe informations from the vehicle manufacturer.
USE
Choose the appropriate thread restorer, paying attention to the thread size and
pitch.
Pull apart the two halves of the thread restorer and position the thread restorer
behind the damaged part of the thread.
Place the adaptor over the wheel stud and rotate it until the two pins within the
adaptor pass into the apertures between the two halves of the thread restorer.
The two half of the thread restorer must be fully entirely enclosed within the
adaptor.
Place a 29 mm socket onto the hex part of the adaptor and attach a suitable
ratchet or sliding bar as a driving tool.
Turn the adaptor in the direction of the defective part of the thread.
