How to insert the Battery

1. Unscrew the battery cap counter-clockwise.
2. Insert a 9 V battery into the battery compartment observing polarity markings. The
Battery status indicator should flash for a moment. If the indicator does not flash,
the battery is not inserted correctly or empty. Insert the battery correctly or replace it.
Grille: protects capsule and prevents “pop” noise.
Battery status LED to indicate power on/off and the battery status. When the handheld
transmitter is switched on, the red LED flashes for a moment indicating the normal battery
status. If the LED fail to flash, there is no battery inserted, the battery is empty or has
been inserted incorrectly. When the LED stays red after having switched on the transmitter
the battery is too weak and must be replaced.
