The LEDs below the fields indicate the selected line source of the MIX 10 NG. Also changes at the MIX 10
NG itself are indicated.
For configurations of the switch-on status refers to chapter "9.4.1 Start".

9.3.3 Stereo

Using the slide control in the "Stereo" operating field you can adjust the volume of the
overall master. Depending on the use and configuration it is possible to control the line
master only (refer to chapter "12. Jumper Configuration with AP 232"). The fade-in and
fade-out speed of the stereo signal depends upon the adjusted speed (refer to chapter
"9.4.3 Fading").
The adjusted stereo volume of the MIX 10 NG is displayed both graphically next to the
slide control and numerically in the field "current". The volume adjustment corresponds
to the master level (6) adjusted on the MIX 10 NG.

The values to be adjusted and displayed are as follows:

0 to -16 dB

in 0.5 dB steps

-16 to -48 dB

in 1.0 dB steps

-104 dB

Absolute
In the "absolute" operating field a volume reduction to a preset value in dB can be done. Using the pull down
menu the value is adjusted to a certain value to which the volume is reduced. There are two possibilities:
1."set" - By selecting the "set" switch panel the value is adjusted immediately.
2."fade" - By selecting the "fade" switch panel the value is adjusted slowly according to the adjusted speed
(refer to chapter "9.4.3 Fading").

Relative
In the "relative" operating field the volume can be increased or reduced in certain steps. Using the pull down
menu in the "steps" field you can select the value and select the "higher" or "lower" option field. There are
two possibilities:
1."set" - By selecting the "set" switch panel the value is adjusted immediately.
2."fade" - By selecting the "fade" switch panel the value is ajusted slowly according to the adjusted speed
(refer to chapter "9.4.3 Fading").

Ducking
You can effect the ducking function manually by selecting the "manu" button. The stereo signal is faded out
according to the configuration (refer to chapter "9.4.2 Ducking"). Using the "manu" button once again, the
stereo signal is faded in again. The "manu" indication shows this function.
The "auto" indication shows that the ducking function is effected by a microphone signal.

During an activated ducking function the volume can be changed. The ducking reduction remains the same.
For configurations of the switch-on status refers to chapter "9.4.1 Start".

9.3.4 Mic

Using the slide control in the "Mic" operating field you can adjust the microphone
volume. Depending on the use and configuration it is possible to control microphone
1 or the signal of the Mic 1 - 6 microphone masterThe fade-in and fade-out speed of
the stereo signal depends upon the adjusted speed (refer to chapter "9.4.3 Fading").
The adjusted microphone volume of the MIX 10 NG is displayed both graphically next
to the slide control and numerically in the "current" field. The volume a d j u s t m e n t
corresponds to the master level (6) adjusted at the MIX 10 NG.

The values to be adjusted and displayed are as follows:

0 to -16 dB

in 0.5 dB steps

-16 to -48 dB

in 1.0 dB steps

-48 to -76 dB

in 2.0 dB steps
