This quick installation guide only contains information on connecting up the system and commissioning.

1. Headzone
®
base station HBP 1
Front
Headphone connection, 6.35 mm stereo jack
Headtracker status LED
Off = Headtracker not active
Green = Headtracker active
Red = Headtracker outside transmission area
Blinking slowly red/off = Device is in upload mode
Bypass button
Press the bypass button if the base station is to operate as stereo headphone amplifier.
A stereo downmix of all surround signals is output. The status LED lights up red.
Status LED
Off = Headzone mode active
Red = Bypass mode active
Input Select
Use the “Input Select” button to switch back and forth between the analog (RCA) or digital audio
inputs (Firewire IEEE1394). The respectively selected input is displayed by the LEDs.
“Input Select” LEDs
Analog LED green = analog inputs are selected
Analog LED red = analog inputs are selected but at least one input is about to overdrive
Digital LED green = digital input is selected
Digital LED red = digital input is selected and about to overdrive
Note:
The LEDs light up red when headroom is less than 6 dB for at least one audio input.
