• The water-tight lens is dirty.
- Clean the lens properly with a soft cotton cloth, which
has been moistened with some disinfectant.
• The lens is damaged.
- Consult your dealer or our customer service depart-
ment.
2. The measured temperature is outside the measuring range.
• The scanning sequences were not carried out on the
temple/forehead.
- This may happen when the scanning sequence is
started before the Forehead Thermometer is placed
correctly on the temple and the ambient temperature
is not within the measuring range (see “Technical
Specifications”). Ensure that the SCAN-button is not
released before the thermometer has been drawn
completely across the forehead.
3. Warning “weak battery”
• The battery is too weak for a measurement to be made.
- replace battery (see “Replacing the battery”).
