4. Preparing for the measurement
Inserting the batteries
š Remove the battery
compartment lid on
the left side of the
device.
š Insert two 1.5 V mi-
cro (alkaline type LR03) batteries. Make sure that the
batteries are inserted the correct way round. Do not use
rechargeable batteries.
š Close the battery compartment lid again carefully.

appears, no further measurements are possible and you
must replace all batteries.

It is essential to set the date and time. Otherwise, you will
not be able to save your measured values correctly with a
date and time and access them again later.
If you press and hold the memory button M , you can
set the values more quickly.
