For your safety
To avoid any risk of fire, electric shock or other injury, please
take note of the following safety advice:
• Please read all operating instructions before use.
• Ensure that the mains voltage is identical to that shown on
the label. Connect only to an AC supply.
• Never clean the appliance with any easily flammable
substances.
• As a precaution, after filling the water bottle switch the appli
ance off before fitting.
Setting up the appliance
• Carefully remove packaging
• Find a suitable place. If at all possible, do not position the
appliance in direct sunlight or near to radiators or other sour
ces of heat (cookers, gas flames etc.). Ensure that air can
circulate unobstructed.
• Attach the shelf for glasses or plastic cups as illustrated.
• Connect the power supply (220 volts / 50Hz). Never tamper
with plug or cable.
• This appliance is not suitable for use outside or in areas with
temperatures below zero.
• As far as possible, try to ensure that the surroundings are
free of dust and dirt.
Using the appliance
• The water dispenser is cleaned before it is packed.
However, we recommend that when first using it you let
approx. half a litre of water run through the dispenser wit-
hout activating the cooling or heating process. To this end,
place both on/off switches in the OFF position.
• Fill the water bottle with water, put on the safety lock and
twist it tight.
• Ensure that the appliance is still switched off and that the
two operating buttons for hot and cold water are closed (not
pressed). Then place the water bottle as illustrated onto the
dispenser.
• For initial set-up, press the cold water button until the outlet
is dispensing water normally. Then press the hot water but-
ton with the same procedure as cold water button. When
both outlets can dispense water, the set-up is completed.
The two integrated hot and cold water tanks will
now be automatically filled with water. When both tanks are
adequately filled with water, press the two operating buttons
one after the other and let as much water as you like flow
into a container.
• When the cleaning process is finished, make sure that the
bottle is still adequately filled with water.
• Now place the two switches for hot and cold water in the
‘ON’ position. The LED indicators start to glow.
• Hot water will be available to you after around 6 minutes,
and cold water after about 40 minutes.
• At average room temperature of 25°, your water dispenser
can cool 1,5 litres of water an hour, while heating 6 litres of
water at the same time. The average temperature for cold
water is approx. 11 – 13° and for hot water approx. 80 – 90°.
• Make sure the power plug is connected to AC outlet.
• Please set up the Aquarius Water Dispenser on the table
with at least 15 cm clearance to wall for heat dissipation.
• Each water tank’s maximum capacity is 0.7 litres (cold) and
0.8 litres (hot).
Cleaning the appliance
Depending on how often your dispenser is used, we recom-
mend cleaning it every 3 to 6 months. To do so, put the on/off
switch in the OFF position or disconnect the power supply by
pulling out the plug. Lift up the appliance, open the two water
outlets on the bottom of the appliance by removing the plastic
stoppers and let the water out. This will get rid of any residual
muck in the bottom of the tank. When you have finished clean-
ing the dispenser, make sure that you completely close off the
water outlets again.
When not in use
If the dispenser is due not to be used for a relatively long peri-
od of time, we recommend that you disconnect the power
supply, take off the water bottle and empty both water tanks.
