Air supply connection
For correct use of the pneumatic tool, always keep to such maximum pressure as stated in the TECHNICAL DATA table and
measured at the tool inlet. Feed the pneumatic tool with clean, condensate-free air (picture 1). Excessively high pressure or
humidity in supply air results in shorter life for the mechanical parts and may damage the tool.
USE
How to fill magazine
Always disconnect the air supply before filling the magazine; this precaution will prevent the pneumatic tool from being
accidentally started.
During this operation, hold the pneumatic tool in such a way that it is not pointed to the operator or other people.
• Choose the type of pin to drive in according to the type of job required. You cannot load different types of pins simultaneously.
• Do not drive in any deformed fixing parts, and only use such fixing parts as stated in the TECHNICAL DATA table.
• Place the pneumatic fixing machine in such a way as to prevent the fixing parts that are contained in it from falling accidentally
when the magazine is opened.
• To open the magazine, press the rear lever (picture 3); a spring will cause the magazine to open automatically.
• Fit the fixing parts into their seats (picture 4).
• Push the magazine as much as required to close it fully; the trigger will be released and locked automatically.
• Connect air supply to the pneumatic tool.
Start
Start operating the pneumatic fixing machine as follows:
• Firmly place the pneumatic fixing machine near the working area.
• Press the safety trigger; keep it pressed and then pull the trigger (picture 2). The pneumatic fixer will allow one “shot” at a time.
• For each fixing part driven (“shot”), pull the trigger, keeping the safety trigger pressed.
• Shots in sequence are not allowed.
• When the safety trigger is released, the pneumatic fixing machine stops and the trigger cannot be pulled.
Troubleshooting
Always disconnect air supply before checking the pneumatic tool for failures or cleaning it, and empty the magazine; this precaution
will prevent the pneumatic tool from being accidentally started.
FAILURES
POSSIBLE CAUSES
SOLUTIONS
Fixing part jammed
Fixing part loaded incorrectly.
Check that fixing machine has been correctly loaded
as follows:
1) Open the magazine (picture 3).
2) Loosen the two hexagonal-head screws on the
front of the headless pinner (picture 2).
3) Remove the door, making it slide downwards.
4) Remove the jammed pin.
5) Replace the door, locking the two hexagonal-head
screws.
6) Load the pins and check that they slide easily.
7) Push the magazine as much as required to close
it fully.
Connect air supply to fixing machine and operate it.
Unsuitably sized fixing part.
Check dimensions of fixing part by comparing them
with dimensions stated in TECHNICAL DATA table.
Bits of glue or wood powder in
magazine or guide.
Remove bits of glue or wood powder.
No fixing part is ejected
