operAtion - placing the batteries
Battery specification: 6 x AA
1. Turn anticlockwise to open the battery compartment (2).
2. Install 6 AAA batteries.
3. Place the battery compartment cover back on the appliance.
operAtion - use
1. Pull open the container (4) and fill it with cheese. Preferably a somewhat harder cheese.
2. Open the cover (5) on the bottom of the cheese grater.
3. Hold the cheese grater on top of the dish.
4. Press the on/off switch (1) to grate and gently push the reservoir.
5. When you finished grating cheese, remove the excess cheese and close the chees grater by closing
the lid on the bottom of the cheese grater.
• Never leave flat batteries in the grater, remove when the grater is not in use for an extended period
of time.
• Do not insert you fingers or other objects into the stainless steel grater cylinder (3).
cleAninG And MAintenAnce
All loose parts are dishwasher suitable (except battery compartment).
You disassemble the cheese grater in the following manner:

1. Turn the housing (a) of the battery compartment (b) counterclockwise and
remove it.
2. Remove the battery compartment.
3. Turn the drive shaft (c) counterclockwise and remove it.
4. Lift the housing (d) and remove the grating cylinder (e).

• Never use corrosive or scouring cleaning agents or sharp objects
(such as knives or hard brushes) to clean the appliance.
To reassemble the device:
1. Put the grater back into the cylinder device with the open side directed down.

2. Place the shaft and turn it clockwise.
The grater cylinder is locked
3. Replace the battery compartment cover and let it fall correctly in the notches.
4. Replace the cover and turn clockwise until it locks.
