instAllAtion of liGht kit (oPtionAl)
To ensure the success of this installation, be sure to read the instructions and review the diagram thoroughly
before beginning. Follow the instructions that are applicable to your light kit model and fan construction.
Should your fan be packaged with a light kit. do not assemble the light kit to fan other than the packaged
with the light kit.
To reduce the rist of electric shock, disconnect the isolated main switch before assembly.

1. Install light bulb,60 Watts max.
2. Attach glass shade into light kit by pushing glass until fully locked.
oPerAtion instrUction
1. The sequence of operation for pull chain is : OFF-HI-MED-LOW
2. Push the slide switch DOWN for FORWARD and UP for REVERSE action of the blades
3. Even if your fan is mounted with blades more than 2.35m from the floor, be carefully to avoid placing your
raised arms or any object in the path of the blades.

connections in switch housing.
cAUtion
: Make sure main power is turned off.
Fan sounds
noisy
1. Loose screws in motor
housing.
2. Screws securing fan blade
flanges to motor hub are
loose.
3. Wire nuts inside switch
housing rattling.
4. Light kit glassware loose ;
light bulb loose in socket.
5. Motor noise caused by
solid-slate variable speed
control.
1. Check to make sure all screws in motor housing are
snug (not over-tight)
2. Check to make sure the screws which attach the
fanblade flanges to the motor hub are tight.
3. Check to make sure wire nut connectors in
switchhousing are not rattling against each other or
against the interior wall of the switch housing.
cAUtion
: Make sure main power is turned off before
entering switch housing.
4. If using an optional Ceiling Fan Light Kit. Check to
be sure the screws securing the glassware are finger
tight. Check to be sure light bulb is tight in socket.
5. Some fan motors are sensitive to signals from Solid-
State variable speed controls. If Solid-State Control
is used and motor noise results choose an alternate
control method.
Fan wobbles
or shakes
excessively.
1. Screws securing fan blade
flanges to blade hub are
loose.
2. Fan blade flanges not
sealed properly.
3. Fan blades out of balance.
1. Check to be sure screws which attach the fan blade
flanges to the motor hub are tight.
2. Check to be sure the fan blade flanges seat firmlyand
cleanly to the top surface of the motor hub.
3. Interchanging adjacent (side-by-side) blade pairs
can redistribute the weight and result in smoother
operation.
