DONNING
Before use practice donning and using this lifejacket in water to ascertain
performance. (For automatic model remove water sensing cartridge prior to test)
AFTER TESTING, ALLOW THE LIFEJACKET TO AIR DRY THOROUGHLY AND
REMEMBER TO REFIT THE AUTOMATIC CARTRIDGE.
THIS IS NOT A LIFEJACKET UNTIL FULLY INFLATED. Full performance may not be
achieved using certain types of clothing or in other circumstances.
Prior to every use you should ensure there is no damage to the lifejacket and the
in„a tion system is fully functional including a check that the gas cylinder has not
been ÿred and it is screwed in tightly to the ÿring head.
IMPORTANT OVER A PERIOD OF TIME THE GAS CYLINDER MAY WORK LOOSE,
IF THE CYLINDER IS LOOSE IT WILL NOT INFLATE THE LIFEJACKET, CHECK
BEFORE EVERY USE THAT THE CYLINDER IS TIGHTLY SCREWED IN
Put on like a waistcoat and secure the buckle. Adjust the belt by
threading the webbing through the adjuster buckle. The belt
should be a tight but comfortable fit.
ALWAYS WEAR THE LIFEJACKET AS THE OUTER MOST LAYER.

REARMING
Only rearm using the manufacturers rearming kit.
1. De„a te the lung by holding the tag on the oral tube cap against the oral tube
valve. Roll the lifejacket up tightly to expel all air, repeat this process several times
to ensure complete de„a tion. 2. If manually ÿred, push the ÿring lever back into
position and secure with plastic clip. 3. If (automatic model only) automatically
ÿred, unscrew the water sensing cartridge and replace with new. 4. Remove used
gas cylinder and screw new cylinder back in place, hand tight. If either of the two
green ÿring indicators are missing you must rearm with a new kit. IMPORTANT.
Failure to follow the rearming process in written order will cause accidental
activation of the gas cylinder.
For Pro Sensor, Hammar and Halkey Roberts models refer to enclosed
