Replace the side padding, see ill. 3, and pull
down the zip fastener.
3) Height adjustment of side support
Grip the whole adjustable side support, and
loosen it from the Velcro (se ill. 3).
Now you can adjust it upwards and
downward to the desired position.
Close the zip fastener.
4) Pommel
The pommel can be removed for washing.
The cover must be
removed from
the EPP
before washing.

Adjustment and adaptations
1) BeSafe iZi Up X1 Handicap can be used
with or without the turning base. It can also be
used with or without complete internal harness
or with only some of the features, when needed.
2) Lateral adjustment
of side support (1)
Before you begin
open the zip
fastener, place
the child in the
seat to see how
much adjustment
is needed. A snug
fit is an advantage,
so that the child
is well supported.
Withdraw the side
padding, (1 see ill 3)
Press in the lock block, see ill 3, you are now
allowed to choose the desired side position.
Make sure that the spring-loaded mechanism
clicks into place, and that you cannot move it
laterally.
