1.
Thread the overlocker for 4-thread overlock stitch
using the colors to match the color-coded threading
path on the machine. Select Stitch #1 and make all the
recommended manual setting adjustments.
2.
Fold the fabric in half lengthwise 5” x 10”
3.
Sew the 4-thread overlock with preset default setting
along the folded edge—trimming off the fold. Stitch
off the edge of the fabric and continue until the thread
chain is long enough to be cut in the thread cutter at
the side of the machine (6”-8” approximately).
4.
Examine the stitch formation and label the sample with
the machine settings on the fabric.
5.
Launch the Stitch Optimizer and determine if any
corrective measures are needed.
