DECT 6.0 Detection Mode
DECT 6.0 cordless phone monitoring is initiated from the MEASUREMENTS screen, regardless of
frequency band selection. The various fields in the DECT 6.0 Detection screen are identical to those of
the Direction Finding screen with the exception of the Geographic Region field as follows (Figure 7):

SETUP
Setup of the unit before use requires the completion of the following sequence of steps:
1.
attaching one of the provided antennas to the unit as appropriate (Omnidirectional antenna for
detecting/monitoring, DF antenna for locating)
2.
powering up the unit by pushing in trackball or center keypad pushbutton

3.
activating accessories (Sound, Vibrator, Laser) as needed
4.
adjusting Volume (if Sound was activated)
5.
selecting the frequency band (US or EU)
6.
adding attenuation if necessary (for strong in-band signals)
