INTRODUCTION:
Please read the installation instructions carefully before carrying out the work described in these
electronics installation instructions and the user manual�
Thank you for choosing the Berger Titanium manoeuvring aid� This product has been manufac-
tured to high standards and has undergone careful quality control� With the help of the remote
control, you can effortlessly move your caravan to any desired position�
Before you proceed with the installation and start using the manoeuvring aid, please read these
instructions very carefully and observe all safety instructions! The owner of the caravan is always
responsible for correct use� Keep these instructions in your caravan for future reference�
These electronics installation and operating instructions describe the steps required to con-
nect the electronics to the motor unit of the manoeuvring aid� On the models with automatic
switch-on, you can use the remote control to switch on the castors of the manoeuvring aid
simultaneously in any setting� Once engaged, the remote control allows full directional control
of your caravan and enables precise manoeuvring and functions such as turning on the spot
(single axle mode only)�
INSTALLATION - SAFETY GUIDELINES
Read these instructions carefully before installation and use� Failure to do so may result in seri-
ous injury or property damage�
Before you start installing the manoeuvring aid:
Make sure that the caravan is disconnected from the battery supply and the mains�
Only use adapters and accessories supplied or recommended by the manufacturer�
Make sure that the tyres are not too worn (it is best to fi t new or almost new tyres)�
Make sure that the tyre pressure is in accordance with the manufacturer‘s recommendations�
Make sure that the chassis is in good condition and has no damage, and is free of rust, dirt, etc�
Stop work immediately if you have any doubts about the assembly or any procedure and con-
tact our specialist dealers�
Fit the battery disconnect switch so that it is accessible at all times when parking and moving
the caravan�
DO NOT remove, modify or alter any part of the chassis, axle, suspension or brake mechanism�
DO NOT operate the unit if you are under the infl uence of drugs, alcohol or medication that
may impair your ability to operate the unit safely�
These instructions are intended as a general guide� Installation procedures may vary depending
on the type of caravan�
Use a suitable support! Working under a vehicle without a suitable support is extremely dange-
rous�
If you are installing the manoeuvring aid yourself, it is advisable that two people carry out the
installation, as the manoeuvring aid must be raised to the underside of the caravan chassis
before the clamps can be fi tted�
