Traveling with a load
A.
Making sure the load is properly secured into the
accessory (see picking up a load section) travel with
the lowest and safe height from the ground as
possible. Also travel with the slowest speed as
possible.
Releasing a load
A.
Stop in front of desired location.
B.
Slowly raise load to required height.
C.
Move forward slowly checking to make sure
accessory and load clears all obstacles.
D.
Stop forward movement when load is positioned over
its release location.
E.
Releasing load making sure you have control of the
load being released at all time.
F.
Slowly and safely backup.
G.
Lower accessory to low as possible transporting height.
Pull up bushes
A.
Open upper jaw
around 15’’
.
B.
Rotate front of the accessory down. Lower the
accessory until upper and lower jaw become in
contact with the ground on each side of the bushes.
C.
Close the grapple.
DANGER
To avoid serious injury or death:
•
Do not transport on public roadways with a load
in the attachment. The load can create a traffic
hazard.
•
Always travel straight up or straight down on
incline. the heavy end of the power machine on
the “uphill” side
.
•
Always transport loads as close to the ground as
possible without hitting objects. A load carried
high could shift causing the load to fall, tipping of
the machine, and/or loss of control.
•
Make sure you always have good visibility when
travelling with the load.
•
Make sure to leave enough place when turning
to avoid the load hitting solid objects resulting in
loss of control or property damage.
•
Do not move load up and down when travelling,
move load when tractor is stopped only.
