Ensure that the gap for the guide rails is correct.
☞
Slide the parts from the protective grating sideways onto
the drive unit until the fastening holes are on top of each
other.
☞
Affix the protective grating by screwing the screws into
the thread adapter.

Install the device from outside

Take note of how the wall fastening bracket is aligned:

Square mounting recess = top
y
Round mounting recess = bottom
☞
Align the wall fastening bracket to the centre of the
exhaust air duct.

Determine the hanging position.
☞
Determine the locations of the fastening points and mark
them.

Risk of death due to explosions or electric shock!
Drilling through gas, water or electrical lines can lead to
hazardous situations.
☞
Ensure that there are no lines in the wall at the fastening
points.

Drill the holes in the wall.
☞
Insert the wall plugs into the holes.
