ZEN Water Fountain Use Instructions

The European directive 2011/65/EU on Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE), requires
that old household electrical appliances must not be disposed of in the normal unsorted municipal
waste stream. Old appliances must be collected separately in order to optimize the recovery and
recycling of the materials they contain, and reduce the impact on human health and the environment.
The crossed out “wheeled bin” symbol on the product reminds you of your obligation, that when you
dispose of the appliance, it must be separately collected.
Operation
Make sure that the base is full of water and pump is immersed completely, then connect the plug to a wall socket.
Water starts running continuously, to turn the appliance off it is necessary to unplug it from the wall socket.
Note: if water is not running, there might be some air stuck inside the pump circuit. Disconnect and
re-connect the plug two or three times, until water starts running.
Important: do not connect the plug to a wall socket without filling the base with water, to avoid da-
maging the pump.
It is possible to adjust the water flow with the regulation switch found on the pump; after disconnecting the plug
from the wall socket, lift the top cover to access the pump, by gently pull upwards to detach the small suction
cups, and slide the switch to the right or to the left to place it on the desired flow level (4 levels available).
Replace the cover back on the base and connect the plug to the wall socket.
Cleaning and maintenance
The appliance doesn’t need any particular maintenance. Clean the outer surface of the top cover and of the base
with a soft cloth slightly dampened (disconnect the plug from the wall socket before carrying out any cleaning or
maintenance operation).
