Biscuit maker Use instructions
The green indicator light (2) will be lit during the baking cycle whilst the baking temperature is within
the optimal range. If the temperature drops too much, the green indicator light (2) will extinguish and
the Biscuit Maker (A) will reheat.
- Bake the biscuits to your preferences. The baking time varies between approx. 6 to 8 minutes.
Depending on the batter being used and your preferences, the baking time may be a bit shorter or
longer. Briefly lift the cover (3) after at least 2 minutes to check doneness. Lifting the cover (3) so-
oner may result in the biscuits breaking open. Only hold the cover (3) by the handle (4), where the
temperature is lowest.
- Once you are happy with the baking results, remove the finished biscuits from the open Biscuit
Maker (A) by lifting them out of the biscuits moulds (6) using e.g. a wooden fork or wood pick. Never
use metal objects to remove the biscuits to prevent damaging the biscuits moulds (6).
- Allow the biscuits to cool off before continuing to work with them.
- If you no longer wish to use the Biscuit Maker (A), unplug from the socket and allow the Biscuit
Maker (A) to cool off completely.
- Clean the Biscuit Maker (A) as described in chapter “Cleaning”.
Maintenance
Maintenance is required if the Biscuit Maker (A) is damaged, liquids or objects have entered the
housing, the Biscuit Maker (A) was exposed to rain or moisture, or if the Biscuit Maker (A) is not wor-
king properly or fell. If you notice smoke, unusual noises or odour, immediately shut off the Biscuit
Maker (A) and unplug from the socket. In these cases discontinue using the Biscuit Maker (A) until
it has been inspected by an expert. Any maintenance must be performed by skilled professionals.
Never open the housing of the Biscuit Maker (A).
Cleaning
Unplug from the mains socket before cleaning, risk of electric shock!
Allow the Biscuit Maker (A) to cool off. Risk of burns!
Never immerse the Biscuit Maker (A) in water!
Do not clean the Biscuit Maker (A) with cleaners or solvents. This will prevent damaging the Biscuit
Maker (A) and cleaning residue in the next batch of biscuits. Proceed as follows:
- After using the Biscuit Maker (A) first clean the baking surfaces (5) and donut moulds (6) with a dry
paper towel to remove grease residue.
- Next clean all surfaces and the power cable with a slightly dampened dishcloth.
- Dry the Biscuit Maker (A) and all accessories well before using again.
Storage during non-use
When the Biscuit Maker (A) is not being used it can easily be stored by wrapping the power cord
around the rear foot and storing the Biscuit Maker (A) vertically to save space.
