Chapter 3: Installation Procedure
Finalizing the Installation
1. With the inverter still turned off, perform a visual inspection of the wire
labels to make sure:
a. All of the ungrounded wires are terminated to the proper location on the
fuse block.
b. The grounded wires are terminated to the proper location on the
grounded busbar.
c. The equipment ground wires are terminated to the equipment ground
busbar.
2. Replace the plastic shields over the connectors.
3. Verify that the correct wires are connected to the proper locations on the
inverter.
4. Close the door and engage the locks in the upper and lower right corners of
the enclosure. Move the disconnect handle to the On position.
5. Padlock the enclosure to insure only qualified personnel have access to the
units.
6. Start up the system per the inverter manufacturer’s instructions.
