Appendix A: Bentek Zone Monitoring System using an Ethernet Interface
The Bentek Zone Monitoring System utilizes a Ethernet interface running the
Modbus TCP/IP protocol. The default Modbus address is 01. The default IP
address is:
The Zone Monitoring System is preconfigured and installed in your BUSS at the
factory. You need to provide power with a separate disconnecting means to the
Power Supply, as described in
“Connecting the Fan and Zone Monitoring System
.
Data Format and Addressing
The system is comprised of individual 200A or 400A current transducers and an
ICP-DAS data acquisition module. Full-scale output of the current transducers is
+/-4V. The analog input mode of the data acquisition modules are factory set to
be +/-5V, 2's Complement HEX format.
The ICP-DAS data acquisition module has been factory configured into 20
single-ended channels. Use Modbus TCP/IP communications protocol to read
the analog input values. See the “ET-7000/PET-7000 AIO Series User's Manual”
for details.
The Analog Input Module Web-Based Utility
If a host for the monitoring system has not been arranged, you can use a
Windows-based PC with an Ethernet interface and a web-enabled browser to
configure and display current monitoring data.
Refer to the “ET-7000/PET-7000 AIO Series User's Manual,” from ICP DAS for
details. It can be downloaded from
