How to adjust your monitor
1. Set each monitor ready for connection. On each monitor, go to
System
>
OSD Settings
>
MST
, and select
ON
. Go to
System
>
DP
, and select
DP 1.2
. Note the OSD menu can be
launched and configured only when input signal is detected.
2. Connect the first monitor to your laptop using a DP cable.
3. Connect the second monitor to the first one using a DP cable as illustrated.
4. Follow Step 3 to connect the third and the fourth monitors if desired.
5. All the ports on the monitor base will be disabled during MST as USB Type-C connection
is not in use. You should connect the USB peripherals, RJ45 cable, and power supply to
the laptop and manage the display from there.
6. Power on the laptop and the monitors.
7. On your laptop, decide the way you want the content to be displayed on the connected
monitors:
Duplicate
,
Extend
, or
Projector only
. Additional software (purchased
separately) may be used to manage the display. Refer to the manual of the purchased
software for more information.
Supported resolution
To perform MST, a limited number of connected monitors is required to ensure image quality.
The following information shows the image resolution available to each monitor.
If connectivity of monitor base is preferred during MST, connect the first monitor to your laptop using a USB
Type-C and a DP cable in Step 2. The monitor base now supports power supply for your laptop, and all except
the DP-OUT port should be working.
