Using BenQ Joybee 120 MP3 Player

Updating firmware and formatting memory

Updating firmware

If your Joybee 120 does not work properly due to firmware

damage, you may update the firmware of Joybee 120 with the

tool that comes with the device.

Please make sure that you have backed up all files on Joy-
bee 120 before updating the firmware.

1. Turn off Joybee 120 by setting the Power switch to OFF.

2. Connect Joybee 120 to PC with a USB cable.

3. Turn on Joybee 120 by setting the Power switch to ON.

4. Press Start, Programs (or all programs), BENQ Joybee 120

MP3 Player, JoyBee Firmware Update from Windows. The

bottom dialog box will appear on the PC screen.

4. Press and hold MENU/ON/OFF on Joybee 120 for about 10

seconds. If Joybee 120 is successfully connected to the PC, the

connection progress will be displayed on the PC screen.
