Connecting with your speaker by Wi-Fi
A Wi-Fi connection allows your speaker to wirelessly access Spotify and
vTuner radio via the treVolo A app, as well as play preset channels directly
from these music services. To setup a wireless connection follow the steps
below:
• Ensure that your speaker is not connected to the internet via an Ethernet connection
before starting the Wi-Fi setup process.
• treVolo A supports Wi-Fi 2.4G and 5G.
• Wi-Fi supported channels: 2.4GHz channels 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11 / 5GHz
channels 36, 40, 44, 48

149, 153, 157, 161, 165.
1. Install the treVolo A app on your smart device.
2. Place the speaker within range of the Wi-Fi router you want it to
connect to.
3. Enable Wi-Fi on your smart device.
4. Launch the treVolo A app on your smart device.
5. Select “Add new speaker” in the treVolo A app.
6. Select “Wireless” in the treVolo A app.
7. Press and hold the Wi-Fi button on your speaker for 3 seconds.
If after pressing and holding the Wi-Fi buttons for 3 seconds there is 10 seconds of
inactivity your speaker will return to normal operation, press and hold the Wi-Fi
button again for 3 seconds.
8. The control panel will display a message asking if you want to clear the
speaker’s Wi-Fi settings. Press the Wi-Fi button to confirm that you
want to clear any Wi-Fi settings. This will activate Wi-Fi setup mode.
This message will not appear when connecting with your speaker for the first time.
9. Select “Next” in the treVolo A app.
10. Select the speaker from the list of available speakers in the treVolo A
app.
By default the name of the speaker follows the format “treVolo A
xx:xx:xx:xx:xx:xx” with the last 6 characters being the last 6 characters of the
speaker’s MAC address. To check the MAC address of your speaker press and hold
the AUX/RCA and Bluetooth
®
/SPDIF on the speaker for 5 seconds to enter the
System info menu on the speaker, then turn the volume knob to scroll to the MAC
address.
