MINIMUMS SELECT ALERTS

As the airplane approaches the altitude set in the MINS field, the aural
alert “Approaching Minimums” is provided and the minimums select
bug flashes momentarily.

When the airplane reaches the minimum altitude, the aural alert
“Minimums, Minimums” is provided and the minimums select bug
flashes momentarily.

DENSITY ALTITUDE

The density altitude, shown below the altitude tape, displays the
pressure altitude adjusted for non-standard temperature. The range is
-1000 to 35000 FT.

intended for use in take off and landing computations.
